Mounts Bay Pterodactyl…
Early morning, late June. Caravan curtains were drawn back to reveal
A Mousehole sunrise, following days of sea mist, dullness and ill cheer.
The ocean, wrinkled dull grey was streaked by a startling silvery gleam
And the coast formed a strip of darkened land mass, beneath such a dramatic sky…
As the rays of daybreak, a fanned palette of shades of peach through amber, the unreal
Occurred, as a dark grey to black cloud shape began to appear.
Its form, like a massive Pterodactyl, eased across the sun disk like a bad dream
And its jaws devoured the Cornish morning, as it skimmed the waves and passed monstrously by…

Looked a little like a Pterodactyl to me…
