SHORE... (My new poem about the mindfulness of the seashore...)

 Shore…

There was silence. There was no-one. There was a setting sun. There was his distress.

There was solace only in the evening shore

And such shivers worried inside his chest, the mindset listless.

There was simply nowhere else to go for him. There was no-one to share

The hopelessness…

There was the merest breeze. There were red and amber reflections upon a seething sea.

There was grace in the enormity of the shore

And such serenity tarried inside his breast, his mind breaking free.

There was simply nowhere else but there for him. There was no-one left to care.

Just helplessness…
